Now that you are familiar with the uses of reflexive verbs, I want you to make your own video about your routine. Your routine must include five sentence. They are to start with the following prompts:
- Me gusta...
- Prefiero ...
- Quiero ...
- Necesito ....
- Debo ...
*¡Ojo! Remember since the first verb is conjugated you do not conjugate the reflexive verb, but you do need to use the correct reflexive pronoun.
To complete this activity you are going to use the website mailvu.com. Follow these steps to complete this assignment:
1) Sign up for a free account.
2) Along the top of the screen there is an option that says "record video", select this.
3) A warning message will pop up that asks to use your video camera, allow it.
4) It will record you telling about your routine (your five sentences), make sure you say record for your recording to start.
5) When you are satisfied with your video click the icon to e-mail your video.
6) E-mail me your video. My e-mail address is: snl7@nau.edu
Actividad 7

and/or helpful?

In this lesson I learned what were reflexive verbs and how to use them. I also learned how to use the reflexive pronouns.
I do not have any questions right now.
I liked this lesson the best out of the two lessons, although when trying to listen to the video to answer the questions it was a little difficult because she spoke so fast.
I would recommend that there are more little games like the one where we had to match the words so that they disappear.

In this lesson we learned about reflexive verbs and what they are used for. I still want to learn more about how to conjugate them grammatically correct in a sentence. That's where I got a little confused. I liked this lesson better than the last two. I feel like I learned the most with this one. I am not really sure what I could recommend. :)

I learned about the different reflexive verbs and their conjugations. I think I still need practice using them and learning more about them because they are confusing. The conjugations would be what I have questions about. I liked the lesson, the only thing that I don't like is how we have to sign up for all of these different websites.

From this lesson I learned the reflexive verbs and how they are different then other verbs and I also learned how to use them. I dont have any questions. I did like this lesson because I felt like it was basic and straight to the point. The only thing I don't really like all that much is signing up for so many different websites. I would also put more practice activities on next time.

I learned what a reflexive verb is and when it is used. I also learned the different conjugations for reflexive verbs.
I do not have anymore questions.
This was my least favorite lesson. I do not like that we have to sign up for all of these different websites that we never even use again. We have accounts for 4 or 5 different sites that we have used once and we keep having to sign up for more.

I learned about that reflexive verbs are verbs that you do to oneself.
I do not have any questions at this time.
I really enjoy the flashcards, matching and the video about the routine. I liked this one just as much as I liked the second on line assignment.
The only bad part about the online activities is that I can never seem to be able to do the accent marks. I am able to do it on Micrsoft Word but it doesn't work the same way for these assignments. I liked how one of the activities had the button to pus for the n with the ~. That was very helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I think I was able to understand exactly what you wanted us to learn.

1)In this lesson we learned about reflexive verbs, and how to use them correctly in a sentence. Learning the vocab was mostly a review for me, so I found these activities to be fairly easy.
2)The only questions regarding the verbs are the difficulties that I am having with remebering the definitions, and those will come with additional practice and studying.
3)I think that this has been the easiest one so far, and I could enjoy it because it didn't feel as tedious or long as the others.
4)I think that the online lessons have been getting better with our suggestions, and do not have anything to say or suggest about this one. I do think that it was a good practice, and effective with helping me learn the few words that I did not recognize.

ReplyDelete1. I learned that reflexive verbs are used when referring to yourself.
2. I do no have any questions regarding reflexive verbs.
3. I liked this lesson a lot more than the first two. There were more fun ways to learn.
4. I would suggest other lessons reflect this one because it was fun learning with the different games.

ReplyDelete1) Reflexive verbs and when they are appropriate.
2) I'm not sure, I don't think I can ask relevant questions yet, but I can use what was taught so far.
3) This one was the least enjoyable, albeit the shortest. It had the most bugs and the least amount of practice.
4) My activity 2 completely bugged out on me and would not let me finish the activity, so I was unable to complete/submit it. Whatever script it was running was super buggy and lagged out on me several times. Also I don't like having to keep signing up for additional websites, and the mailvu one was particularly frustrating and problematic.

-I learned how to use reflexive verbs.
-I don't think I'll have questions once I study them a bit more, I just get a couple of them confused.
-I think the second online activity was my favorite one, but I liked this one a lot too!
-I think the online lessons are well put together.

ReplyDeleteI learned what a reflexive verb is and how to use them.
I only need practice.
I am a fan of this activity due to it was short and sweat.
I am not the biggest fan of online lessons but its different and helps some people.

ReplyDeleteThis lesson taught us about reflexive verbs and how to use them when talking about us, you, he/she, etc.. I understand them well, and so far have no questions. This one was so much better than the others. It was short, sweet, and to the point. The only suggestion I have is to have more fun games!
In this lesson i learned about reflexive verbs, how to translate them and categories of words we already learned that are associated with them. I do not have any questions about reflexive verbs.I liked this lesson best out of all of the ones we have done. This was very quick and easy yet i still comprehend everything that was covered in this lesson. Suggestions i have are keeping it short and simple so its still fun.

I learn how to put a sentence together with reflexive pronouns.
I think the only question I have is to review RP more in class and Asociaciones words.
I like the flashcards and the little quizzes, so I could understand it better.
Overall it is fun but signing up for a lot of accounts is a lot.

I learned more ways to practice memorizing reflexive verbs.
More review is always great.
I like the flascards, matching game, and quizzes.

-I learned all about reflexive verbs.

-I learned the new reflexive verbs and how to use them
-No questions regarding reflexive verbs.
-I liked the second lesson more then this. I enjoy the flash cards and memorizing games a lot. Some of the websites didn't work on my computer for this lesson
-I really enjoy the memorizing games and flashcards. They really help learn the information in a fun way.
1. I learned about the use of reflexive pronouns and how to conjugate them. I also learned they aren't conjugated after an already-conjugated verb.
ReplyDelete2. I didn't have any questions, everything was made clear and understandable.
3. I don't have any suggestions. The assignment was full of good activities.

I learned how to use reflexive verbs.
ReplyDeleteI have few questions about conjugations and how they are changed when there os other people and yourself.
This lesson was much faster, but the time period was inconvenient. I am working on this at 11 30 pm on sunday night because i didnt have time for it over our HOLIDAY.
I would suggest less signing up for other little sites. I have a fear of catching a virus one day and I continuously recieve mail regarding the sites in information and ads. I would suggest using the sites we have already signed up for, for future online assignments. Perhaps I am being a little critical since it is so late and I am so tired,so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But like I said before, the time period really isnt compatable at all.
I learned more about reflexive verbs more in context
ReplyDeleteWhat are the proper times to use these verbs and how specifically
I learned more on listening to it and speaking it. The speaking part was my favorite because that helps me remember it more
My suggestions are to put more speaking activities on the work

I learned about reflexive verbs and the lessons reinforced that. I do not have any other questions on reflexive verbs. I liked this lesson even though the links didnt work. I dont like how you have to sign up for new websites every time. I would suggest using the same websites for the different assignments.

ReplyDeleteI learned reflexive verbs and how annoying they can be in spanish. I have some questions on the endings of the reflexive verbs but other than that i think i got it down. I liked this one more compared to the other 2 because it wasnt to much work that overloads you and makes you want to stop working on it. It had a good balance. To make it better i liked the small games a lot so I would like to see more of those.
Lexi Taneman, 10:20
ReplyDeleteIn this lesson, I learned reflexive verbs and feel very comfortable using them. I liked this lesson the best out of all of our online lessons because I didn't have to go to a bunch of different sites and I was already familiar with the first few activities.
Jessica Conrad, 8:00
ReplyDeleteI learned that the -se at the end of reflexive verbs changes depending on who is talking or who someone is talking about.
This lesson was the best because I learned the most from doing all of the activities. I am not sure that my video worked, so that was a small problem that I had with this online lecture.
Zack Werth, 10:20
ReplyDeleteI learned about reflexive verbs and how to use them. I dont have any questions about the verbs, but more practice with them would be great. THis lesson was pretty good compared to others it was much more straight forward. I like the flashcard, and mini activity games more than the word association activity.
Andrea Bielestein
ReplyDeleteI thought the reflexive verbs and their uses video was really helpful! (It helped clarify a lot for me) I learned the uses/definition of reflexive verbs, such as the difference between the actions of doing it someone else as opposed to yourself. I don’t feel like I have any remaining questions about reflexive verbs and I really liked this lesson almost the best just because I felt that it was the perfect amount of work and the directions were really clear (i’m terrible with technology). I honestly can’t think of any suggestions, just because I felt that every online lesson that we’ve done have always been really engaging and fun.

ReplyDeleteI learned about reflexive verbs and how they differ from other verbs. I just need more practice with them to make sure the sentence is conjugated correctly and everything makes sense. this was a good lesson, they have progressed and gotten better each time which is good.

ReplyDeleteI really like the flash cards, and i really like the way we can alter them to make them harder for us as we learn them better, like making one side spansih/english ect. I did like how this lesson was eay to navigate around although I did have trouble submitting my answers and i wasn't able to do activity 2, even after i clicked the separate link. One thing i'm not fond of is having to sign up for other sites, I guess its not a huge hassle but it just feels like one more email i'll get.
Sarah Sandin 10:20
ReplyDeleteI learned about reflexive verbs. How do you ask a question using a reflexive verb? I liked this lesson the best. I feel that it was easy to understand and was helpful in learning about reflexive verbs. I don't have any suggestions. I think you're doing a great job!
Michael Morrisette 10:20
ReplyDelete- In this lesson, I learned about reflexive verbs, how to conjugate them, and how they are used in sentences and to explain what someone is doing. I also learned how some old verbs we know can be made reflexive by adding a suffix.
- I am not sure I have questions, rather, I think I just need to practice more and study to fully learn reflexive verbs and their uses.
- I enjoyed this online lesson and I think that it was great for learning and practicing reflexive verbs. I also loved the quizlet aids such as the practice flash cards. I would suggest using those types of aids with online lessons so that we as students may continue to use after the lesson for studying. They are very helpful.
